When Singh started to neglect a plant he’d been taking care of, he decided to build a system that would measures soil moisture and let him know when it was time to water it. In this talk, Singh will explain how he used a Raspberry Pi, an app built with Flutter, MQTT and PubSub+ Event Broker to do so, and demonstrate some other ways you can use Solace’s PubSub+ to communicate with IoT devices.
