How EDA Fits in With the Agile Model for Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment

Event-driven architecture (EDA) has been an interesting design pattern for enterprise architecture. In EDA the event bus effectively decouples communications between systems, breaking the mold of highly coupled systems which result from more traditional synchronous communication models.

In this talk, Stephen will to elaborate on how EDA best fits in with the agile model for design, development, testing, and deployment. As result, you’ll see how data analytics and a smart digital platform can help business provide benefits to their customers.

Stephen Tsoi is a Technical Manager (Architecture) at The Hong Kong Jockey Club. He has designed and implemented low latency and high throughput event mesh infrastructure which has connected application systems from various business located in different network segments. He is working with development team to apply the EDA design on the new enhancement.
